We offer practical First Aid Training based on probable real life scenarios using audio-visual aids and mannequins. The training is followed by a post training assessment to certify you as an eligible first responder. With a surge in the prevalence of mental health issues, we know psychological first aid is essential and thus, we also train individuals in psychological first aid.

Annual Refresher Training

Our Fivestarmrc Annual Refresher Training is a comprehensive training package designed to help you fulfill Part 46 training guidelines. The courses in this package cover a wide range of topics related to surface mining, such as hazard detection, avoidance, and reporting; emergency procedures; respiratory devices; and first aid. Additionally, each course presents the MSHA-required information in a way that’s both informative and engaging for both newer and highly experienced miners. After taking our Fivestarmrc surface miner annual refresher training, you will have a better understanding of mining safety and operations to help prevent accidents and injuries.




Psychological First Aid (PFA)

PFA is an initial disaster response intervention with the goal to promote safety, stabilize survivors of disasters and connect individuals to help and resources. PFA is delivered to affected individuals by mental health professionals and other first responders. The purpose of PFA is to assess the immediate concerns and needs of an individual in the aftermath of a disaster, and not to provide on-site therapy.

A lack of planning, preparedness and appropriate emergency management systems can lead to devastating to human, animal, economic, and environmental. The impact of natural disasters has been reduced by increasing preparedness for them, and when a disaster occurs, rapidly and effectively assessing the impact of same.
